About the artist Joelle Monique
Joelle Monique is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Atlanta, GA who was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Spelman College and also has a background in fine art, fashion illustration, web and graphic design. Joelle Monique specializes in event fashion illustration, where she sketches guests live in minutes. She captures the main silhouette and outfit, changes proportions in a fashion way while adding an artistic touch. Her sketch technique for events has a focus on the guest’s attire, hair, & skin tones. Not only does it excite and entertain guests, but it is also unforgettable and serves as a keepsake they will cherish forever.

From as early as I can remember, I’ve always had a love affair with the visual aesthetics and details that transform an occasion from something ordinary into a unique and indelible experience. Because of this passion, I’ve been known to lose myself while shopping online or in the stationery aisles. Selecting décor and entertaining items has always been very personal for me; I carefully take the time to find products that will add flair and if I’m lucky enough — with artwork that looks like me while matching the feelings I wish to evoke. When it comes to hosting, I’ve spent endless hours thoughtfully searching and curating ways to bring the right element to the vibe I want to set and that special wow factor to make a memorable experience and meaningful connection for my guests. I often found a void when searching for this which is how Noteworthy Couture was born. It was cultivated to meet your entertaining needs by giving you the ability to express yourself in a beautiful, one of a kind, and authentic way.
